Arro: The food and drink menus

When Arro opened on July 20th, it was the culmination of a long effort by chef Drew Curren and the ELM Restaurant Group to bring "country-style French food" to Austin. They already had the all-night 24 Diner and the bakery/biergarten Easy Tiger before developing Arro on West Sixth Street in the building formerly occupied by Haddingtons, which closed in March. (Read about Arro's evolution here.) Now Curren can showcase French classics like mussels & frites, a croque monsieur and steak tartare. And his wife and pastry chef Mary Catherine Curren can show off rosewater profiteroles and a walnut Napoleon. Together, they offer a $25 three-course prix-fixe menu, plus cheese and charcuterie boards and bread from Easy Tiger baker David Norman. The wine list is a collaboration by master sommeliers Devon Broglie and Craig Collins.
